How Rude!

Mother Nature must be in a terrible mood. Just today we've gotten 5-8 inches with more to come tonight. Wait a second *runs to window* fat flakes are still falling from the sky! Maybe I'll just keep this short and go skiing instead...
Nothing special really happened today, but there was something that I wanted to share. I just can't remember what it was...I'll remember later!
Well I found out that I won't be able to go tomorrow. It;s a real bummer cause I was really looking forwards to it. I mean really looking forward to it. I was so excited I couldn't sit in class! The fact that it's now an impossibility brings a sadness to my life. It'll pass by Saturday and it's not a true sadness. It's more of the fact that I can feel this great chance at something I might never get to do again, at meeting my idol, passing me by.  Oh well. Life's full of opportunity. Maybe one day this chance will come again and I'll be able to take full advantage of it.
I should probably go and study for that Spanish test I'm going to fail and maybe get a little ski in. Who knows!

WAIT I REMEMBERED ! That thing I wanted to tell you is that I met my goal. That's right 10 PULL-UPS! Woohoo! Okay, celebration time is over. Time to improve in that and add some weight.

JNQ at Mt. Itasca

Yes, I did another JNQ race, and this time it was at home. The day before the race I had a high school one. It was our first (and only) pursuit of the season and man was it a sad one. Most of the time either couldn't make it or was sick. Maggie showed up and wound up just going home. The two of us went out to do a warm up/see the course ski and after the first hill she was dying. That weekend she had an uber high fever and was just sick. I went and did the first race and just had to puke the entire time. Afterwards I did wind up puking a couple of times, and decided that I just shouldn't do the second race. Even though I was sick Friday I still decided to race on Saturday.I did the women's 5k and think I did decently. It was a tough course, well mostly it was just a tough beginning. This is what we did; the right horseshoe into the swamp loop, up the switch back climbed all the way up the way, did a loop up top, went down part of bunny hill connected to the service road,...

Breakups

Well this is a sad a post. I'm sorry for that, feel free to just skip this one. Go on, move on to another happier one. It's okay with me. Just get out of here. Go find a love story. We might as well start with Autumn and Calvin. They dated for over a year and were the first one's in our group to actually date. They made a cute couple with their every Saturday dates, and nicknames, and whatnot. We all thought they'd be the next DAndy (Dan and Andie, a couple from our school who started dating in 8th grade and are still together going into their second year of college. And yes, they go to the same college), but apparently not. Calvin started being a real jerk, and Autumn wasn't putting up with that. The rest is history. Then there was the double whammy of Bailey and Max, and Jake and I. Both in one day...ya... It wasn't planned, and neither knew about the other until later. The weirdest part is that both happened at the same time. The day started out with me a...

Mother's Day

So today is Mother's Day, but my mom just went back to work. (She's been on medical leave because of a stress fracture in her leg. She couldn't wait to get back to work and so on Thursday when she got the go ahead, she got herself scheduled for 12 hour days all weekend. It's like she was never here again.) So instead if the usual breakfast in bed, which she winds up throwing a fit about anyways, I've cleaned the house. That doesn't sound like much, but the boys are such pigs that the house is always nasty. My mom is like OCD, and can't stand it. So coming home to a clean house will be much appreciated. If it stays clean that is. Not even 5 minutes after I finished cleaning the living room/dining room area it was somewhat messy. Squirt had dumped out the entire sock bag all over the living room, there were a pair of dirty shoes on the arm of the couch belonging to my 21 yr old brother Josh who should know better by now and a jacket on the ground. Normally I...
